Ashley Wetzel is an associate at Gordon, Wolf & Carney, Chtd. Ms. Wetzel received her J.D. in 2016 when she graduated cum laude from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law. While in law school Ms. Wetzel participated in the General Practice: Consumer Protection Clinic where she worked with the Pro Bono Resource Center representing consumers in third-party debt buyer cases in the Baltimore City District Court. Ms. Wetzel also served as a member of the Moot Court Board and was inducted into Order of the Barristers for excellence in trial advocacy, oral advocacy, and brief writing. Prior to joining Gordon, Wolf & Carney, she served as a judicial law clerk for The Honorable Shannon E. Avery in the Baltimore City Circuit Court.
Ms. Wetzel joined Gordon, Wolf & Carney Chtd. in June 2017. Since joining the firm she has represented consumers as class counsel in multiple class action lawsuits. Ms. Wetzel is a member of the Baltimore County Bar Association, the Bar Association for Baltimore City, the Maryland State Bar Association, and Civil Justice. She is admitted to practice law in Maryland and the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland.
